Paul Rose, also known as Scuba, has announced a series of live shows, his first after 11 years. These performances, named D:U:LIVE, draw their inspiration from Scuba’s ‘Digital Underground’ mixtape.
The initial run of these shows will begin in the UK in June 2024, with more locations and countries planned for later in the year. The debut performances will be at Peckham Audio in London on June 12th, The Love Inn in Bristol on June 13th, and Manchester on June 14th.
Alongside the live show announcement, Scuba has also released a new single entitled ‘Truth’. This cut is a preview of his forthcoming ‘Hardcore Heaven III’ EP, set for release on June 14th, 2024. ‘Truth’ expands on the themes set in the ‘Digital Underground’ mixtape, blending elements of classic hardcore, acid house, and early jungle.
“I’m really excited for the chance to put this music where it belongs, that is to say, on a big rig in a dark room. It’s been such a long time since I played live, and this is a very different kind of show from the last one. It should be a lot of fun,” Scuba expressed.
