The Musée d’Orsay is embracing new forms of artistic expression by featuring Agoria. Through his unique perspective, the French artist will present an exhibition called ‘Le code d’Orsay,’ which will run from February 13th to March 10th, 2024. This exhibition aims to explore the connection between the emergence of experimental art, particularly impressionism, and the museum’s extensive collection.

Within the ‘Le code d’Orsay’ exhibition, Agoria will showcase two captivating works on the Tezos blockchain. The first piece, titled ‘Σ Lumina,’ offers visitors a poetic and experimental experience. The second work, ‘Interpretation by Saccharomyces cerevisiae of The Painter’s Studio by Gustave Courbet,’ explores the intersection of art and science, highlighting the artist’s belief in the inseparable nature of the cryptic and digital worlds with the physical and living realms.

In addition to the visual artworks, Agoria has composed a musical tribute to the Musée d’Orsay. This composition will be played at the museum as a preview starting from February 13th, with its official unveiling taking place on February 23th during Agoria’s DJ Set in the museum’s nave.

Sébastien Devaud, also known as Agoria, is a digital artist who blends the physical and virtual realms, blurring the boundaries between reality and cryptic dimensions. He actively participates in the emerging Web3 world and focuses on biological generative art, utilizing algorithms, artificial intelligence, and data from the living world to create his works. By collaborating with scientists, the artist merges art, music, the Metaverse, and science to integrate the living world into the realm of blockchain.
