London-based producer Catching Flies recently released his latest single, ‘Tides,’ and announced the upcoming release of his LP with the same title.
‘Tides’ is a tranquil acknowledgment of the natural cycles of life, seamlessly blending live instrumentation with luminous electronic beats. This title track stands out as the centerpiece of the project, evoking powerful feelings of hope.
Reflecting on his personal experiences, Catching Flies shares, “Over the past few years, I have noticed a fluctuation between happiness and sadness in my own life. I always knew that the album would conclude with ‘Tides,’ leaving listeners in a more optimistic state. After all, nothing in life remains permanent.”
Teaming up with renowned string arranger Thomas Lea (known for his work with Adele, Bonobo, and Rhye), Catching Flies has created a collection of ever-evolving tracks that ebb and flow like waves.
