Music software and hardware company, Ableton, has unveiled an exciting new add-on kit for their Push 3 controller. This kit allows users to convert the Push 3 into a powerful standalone unit.

According to Ableton, once the upgrade kit is installed, the Push 3 will function identically to a brand-new standalone unit. The kit includes essential components required for standalone use, such as the Intel 11th Gen Core i3 processor, 8GB RAM, a 256GB SSD hard drive, and a lithium iron phosphate battery with a heatsink. Additionally, the package provides all the necessary tools for a seamless installation, including a screwdriver, screws, backplate, and protective mat. Notably, the upgrade also equips the controller with WiFi capabilities.

Once the Push 3 is upgraded, users can effortlessly transfer their sets from the unit to a computer using WiFi, enabling further editing and tweaking on a laptop. Remarkably, Ableton assures that installing the upgrade does not void the three-year warranty that commences from the original purchase date of the Push 3.

The upgrade is priced at  US$ 1,100 and is available for purchase on the official Ableton website.
