Poésie Angulaire presents delavelour – Paranoid Fantasies. The muse has returned, delavelour emerges and the Paranoid Fantasies album is complete! As a key figure in the Canadian electronic music industry, DJ, producer, label manager, and talent buyer François Lebaron presents his alter ego delavelour project with the album Paranoid Fantasies, a musical inspiration that has matured for a long time. Nostalgia, emotions, muddled dreams, broken hearts, fading memories. Paranoid Fantasies offers a deep musical journey through warm textures and loopy lyrics. A balance between modern electronics, new wave, deep house and inspirations from the British New Romantic movement. The songs are impregnated with a hopeful atmosphere tinged with a touch of romanticism juxtaposed with felted synths, vocals and drums arrangements.

He released his first album with the Swedish producer Håkan Lidbo in 2001 (Trigger / Warner) and a second one with Eloi Brunelle in 2006 (Epsilonlab). In 2010, his single Dice Roller remixed by Blond:ish got major traction and since then, several other titles and remixes have appeared solo with his duo Hoopalaï on renowned labels such as Get Physical Music, Kindisch, Repopulate Mars and with electro icon Felix Da Housecat under the moniker Thee FFF (Hoopalaï + Felix Da Housecat). His performances go through Montreal’s Nuit Blanche, Stereo, more than 15 Piknic Electronik, Igloofest Festival, Ilesoniq Festival, the Burning Man Festival, Miami club Do Not Sit On The Furnitures, the BPM Festival, Lio club in Ibiza where he performed alongside Felix Da Housecat and Members Only in New-York just to name a few. François also founded the AIM Festival in 2015 located 1 hour north of Montreal and which has hosted music titans such as Danny Tenaglia, Kerri Chandler, Isolée, Tiga, Four Tet, Claude Von Stroke, Paranoid London, Bedouin, Sasha, John Digweed and many others before leaving the organization in 2020.
