The pair previously worked on ‘Got A Feeling’.
Origins Rcrds label boss Josh Butler has linked up with longtime friend, singer/songwriter and fellow producer José Rosa for a new project called Maritime Yacht Club.
The project has been ongoing for the past three years, commencing during the lockdown in 2020 and helping José through one of the most challenging times in his life and providing an outlet for himself and Josh to throw themselves into during a period of stagnation for many in the music space.
“This project has been a long time coming, and we are very proud to have accomplished this together,” says José. “We wanted to create a concept that was different to anything else out there. We felt combining vocal-led underground house, and commercial sounds would create a unique and captivating result.”
In line with the announcement of the launch of Maritime Yacht Club, the pair have also shared details of ‘On My Own’, their debut MYC release, which will be available on February 24th. ‘On My Own’ is set to be the first release ahead of the duo’s forthcoming LP later in 2023.
