Alan SharpEar (aka Sapiens) is a well known Israeli electronic producer and a DJ in various techno/house genres, based in Tel Aviv.
Since 2012 Alan has released more than 60 tunes and remixes under his main stage name Sapiens.
In 2019 he has launched his second project SharpEar, mainly focused on Deep, Minimal, Organic, Groovy, Funky genres. SharpEar tunes are released on Asane Records (Spain), Soulstar Records (Italy) and Soundscape Digital (UK). Belgian Bitter Sweets is the 3rd EP of SharpEar after his deep and funky debut Presence (2019) on Soulstar Records (Italy) and the jazzy funky Boogie Nights (2020) on Asane (Spain). This time SharpEar turned to more melodic organic directions, creating a fusion of medieval European motives delicately mixed with deep groove dubby and chugging rhythms.
