Launched in 2013 with the concept of injecting electronic music into striking spaces that were usually off-limits to club promoters, the brand’s fresh approach to the scene was an instant hit.
From hallowed concert halls like Concertgebouw to museums like Rijksmuseum and Amsterdam’s Central Train Station, as well as landmarks like the A’DAM Tower, and most recently RAW Factory, Audio Obscura’s search for spectacular venues is never-ending and is paired with a cutting-edge booking policy.
At 2022’s edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event, Audio Obscura hosted 5 events (3 in the RAW Factory, and 2 at the A’DAM Tower Loft) showcasing the talents of Sven Väth, Underworld, Peggy Gou, Solomun, Adriatique, Tale Of Us, and many more. With this, the brand aims to give visitors a new and exciting experience, by including for example vinyl-only DJs, all-night shows, livesets, and thrilling back-to-backs on the program.
