“Let’s rewind time, on TikTok”.
Legendary french outfit Daft Punk has officially joined the ranks over at TikTok, the audiovisual social media platform.
Their first upload ever showcases a fast-paced glimpse of some of the duo’s most iconic moments, from ‘Homework’ to ‘Get Lucky’. A second video featuring a short clip from Spike Jonze’s 1997 video for ‘Da Funk’ was uploaded a day later.
In line with their first posts, Daft Punk also launched their own filter on TikTok, providing users with the choice to don either Thomas Bangalter or Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo’s iconic helmets.
It’s worth noting that their bio only reads ‘Daft Punk (1993 – 2021)’, which doesn’t really spark hopes of a possible reunion any time soon.
