Indonesian trio Batavia Collective have just shared a stunning performance video for their latest single, ‘Propulsion’. The breathtaking, powerful instrumental is already available to stream and purchase across all major digital platforms.
Following up on their stunning debut single, ‘Affirmation’, the Jakarta-based threesome of Doni Joesran, Elfa Zulham, and Kenny Gabriel, returns with another jazz-driven cut in ‘Propulsion’, showcasing delectable melodies and highly dramatic moments.
“We are often asked what kind of jazz this is. To tell you the truth we don’t know. We don’t even know if our music can be considered jazz or not.[…] We create the music through jamming, and afterwards, we vote on certain compositions together. In the end, the purpose is mainly to have fun.” explains the collective about its unique take on the genre.
