Threads offer listeners a deep, dark, and mysterious journey through the emotions of a young woman who feels tied to her ex-lover by a thread. Combining Samanta’s haunting vocal, trippy guitars, a deep bass, and digital synths, this offering will make listeners move and flow through dance floors across the globe.
The creative process behind Threads was nothing but extraordinary. The project started as a file named “use these guitars for something else.als”. To accompany the guitars, Samanta first laid down the groove and deep bass. Looking for inspiration for lyrics, she then recalled that her friend had shared poetry with her and quickly felt compelled to turn one of the poems into a song that became Threads. Samanta then approached Panté with the request for a collab because something still felt amiss. In one night, they nailed down the synth layers that glued the track together, including the final build-up.
Threads is track 1 of 2 on Samanta Liza and Panté’s EP release, following the success of their debut track Dance With Me, as heard on Armada Electronic Elements.
