Our next release is handed to one of our residents on the podcast, Tim French. Tim has had a hugely successful 2 years now producing his blend of the progressive house which has been released on numerous labels including Limbo, Resonate Together, Pangea and of course Melodic Beats recordings. He’s gained much respect for his productions from around the globe and there’s no stopping him here.
On his newest EP, Deeper Days, Tim has two originals, Analogue Angel and Connected.
Analogue Angel is a nod to the 90’s piano-led prog sound we all danced to in a field some decades ago. Using Throbbing basslines, Juno and Jupitor Arps, a piano and pads and an acid line to link it all together Analogue Angel was born. Handing the original to an electronic music legend, Pablo Gargano was an exciting thing to do. And what Pablo produced for his interpretations is just sensational. Involving vocalist, Ivanna to turn this track on its head and produce an organically progressive summer vibe, this is just a thing of beauty. Not happy with just the one version, Pablo has then taken things on a deeper progressive tech tip with the vocals lying over the top with light piano touches, its just leaps ahead of time. Sensational.
We also enlisted the technical talents of Menkee for this one to finish the package off and being a huge fan of Menkee’s productions, he has not let us down. Tough melodic progressive house music at its finest, with an infectious groove, just stunning..
To finish the release off, the second of Tim’s originals, Connected, an atmospherically progressive & melodic cut rings true to Tim’s ethos. A fine release from Tim in every way and his continuing rise in the production world.
