The spin doctor, Rony Seikaly has just unveiled his latest musical outing with the release of his new single ‘Ephemeral’. The drop is a part of his upcoming debut album, ‘Moonwalk’, and is already available via his own STRIDE imprint. The full drop of Seikaly’s ‘Moonwalk’ is scheduled for May 6th.
Showcasing a mesmerizing cascade of iridescent synths, ‘Ephemeral’ is built around a most sultry reverb-drenched vocal sample and restless frame for a wonderful combination of melody and groove.
“The source of inspiration for Ephemeral was the same that usually leads me to create all my tracks, it’s the emotions I feel at that moment and the need to translate them into music, without restrictions of any kind. At that particular moment I needed groove, movement, but I also felt melancholy – I produced the album during lockdown – and I needed a song that, while being groovy and melodic, was also liberating”, says Rony about the release.
